Commercial cargo handling facilities
There a number of wharves and terminal Varying depths up to a maximum of 18m on River Tees.
Tees & Hartlepool Port Authority Operates three cargo handling facilities at Teesport:
Tees Dock:
Six general cargo berths have 10.9m depth Are between 182 and 223m in length.
Max Is 35-40m.
Crane capacity – 1 x 100T, 1 32.5T x 30T, 13 x 10T, 1 x..
The Tees Dock Ferry Terminal has 2 ro-ro berths.
200m in length with 10.9m and 8.8 depth. Max Beams are 35m and 24m.
The terminal is equipped with a floating… And linkspan bridge.
Riverside Roro Terminal
A single linkspan ro-ro berth with a depth of 10.4m at LAT and a 12 acre compound…
Up to 180m can be accommodated but this Be increased to 240m if required.
Teesport Container Terminal
294m continuous quay (160m with a depth 8.5m and the remainder at 7.5m) equipped 2 container handling ship-to-shore gantry Of Terminal space totals 59,400m2
